The Mad King
The mad king refused to leave
Knowing there’d be no reprieve
So instead he solicited his support
To get ready for civil war.
So many tantrums he did throw
While democracy suffered his blows
But that ship has finally sailed
As his bid for a second term failed
He dreamed of being king forever
But the people said “no not ever!”
Spectacular was that revolt
To see his power revoked.
The moral of the story my friend
You should never solely depend
On dividing the people to rule
Or you too will be cast out as a fool.
